From the
East Bay & Within San Francisco
Go
north on Van Ness and turn left onto Lombard. On Lombard, get in the left
lane when you see Divisadero and Broderick. (There is a Wallgreens on
the right.) Lombard takes a sharp left - stay on it. Two blocks later,
you'll enter through the Lombard Gate of the Presidio National Park.
Continue to the 3-way intersection. Yield right on Presidio Blvd. and
continue to the 4-way stop intersection. To your right, you'll see a large
sprawling white building - the Thoreau Center for Sustainability - with
a small parking lot in front where space is usually available. If it's
full, continue past the building and turn Rt of Girard, which winds you
around to the back of the building.
Building 1016 is the furthest west within the Thoreau Center complex.
Fiber Futures is on the 2nd floor.
From Marin
Coming off the Golden Gate Bridge, yield to the right towards the
Downtown/Lombard exit. Stay in the right lane. Exit onto Lyon (2nd right
turn) and proceed one block. (If you miss Lyon, simply turn right on Lombard.)
You'll see the Lombard Gate on your right.
Continue on Lombard (which becomes Presidio) to the 3-way intersection.
Yield right and continue through the 4-way stop intersection. Immediately
on your right, you'll see a small parking lot that has its entrance on
Girard.
If that parking lot is full, continue on Lombard one more block and you'll
find plenty of parking in front of the YMCA on the left.
Building 1016 is the furthest west within the Thoreau Center complex.
Fiber Futures is on the 2nd floor.
To the Acre Café
Go through the lobby of any of the entrances, through the glass doors,
to the back hall and you'll notice where the café is by watching
for tables and chairs down the long corridor.
